6th preliminary

With the last one the preliminaries for the Online-Qualifier to 2010 World Blitz Championship came to an end yesterday evening on playchess.com. Approximately 480 players made a last attempt to gain their place in the next stage of the cycle or just enjoyed theirselve with a lot of entertaining blitz chess. In the end you need again 12,5 points to go on in the event. You might have a look at the crosstable and the games.

The final will take place on Saturday, 30th January 2010, 16.00 CET (GMT +1). the registration will be opened appr. at 15.30 CET (maybe a little bit earlier). All palyers who won a place in the final have t mention their real name in their personal informations, otherwise they are not allowed to play.

Some words of explanation: The ELO is the serverating at the tournament start. If a player hast just registered on the server he/she might have no serverrating. The top ten players are given with their clearnames as the names are given in the personal information. They have not been checked for right spelling etc. .
